Where we work
Rooted In Gubbi, Tumkur.
Our base is in Gubbi taluk, Tumkur district, Karnataka — a belt of red loamy soils, borewell and tank irrigation, and a mix of ragi, maize, groundnut, pulses, coconut and arecanut. Farms here are mostly small and mixed, and the advice we give is built for exactly that: modest acreage, real budgets and unpredictable rain.
Being local is not a slogan for us. It means we know which villages get water late, which soils crust after a hard shower, and which weeks of the season decide the yield.
